Project STAR transforms college from dream to reality for middle and high school students.

Through tutoring, workshops, college tours, assistance with the college application and financial aid process, and SAT preparation participants obtain the necessary skills and information to gain admission to and succeed in college.

UPCOMING: 2008 College Fair
 
Project Reach Youth and Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will be hosting their 2008 College Fair, From Brooklyn and Beyond, on Monday, April 28, 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Brooklyn Borough Hall, 2009 Joralemon St., in downtown Brooklyn.
 
Over 30 colleges will be represented. The event includes a workshop on financial aid, a panel of students talking about their experiences in college, and several raffle prizes. The prize winners of a scholarship essay competition will also be announced.
