HIV/AIDS Peer Education

Project SAFE (Speak out on AIDS Facts and Education) is PRY’S program to educate, train and empower young people to have knowledge of family life and sexual health, to make healthy decisions for themselves and to provide peer education to other young people on sexual health. Teens learn to educate their peers on issues such as HIV and pregnancy prevention through workshops, theater presentations, street outreach, and all-girl mentoring groups.

Our peer educators provide life saving information that increases awareness by tailoring HIV education to the communities they serve and by speaking in their language.
