Content     -meaning, details, & focus The instuctional team designed the Documenting Literacy at Home project to support multi-cultural adult learners with their growing literacy skills and parenting practices. The hands-on writing project synthesizes their experiences in the four components of Even Start, including Early Childhood Education, Parenting Education, Interactive Literacy and Adult Education (ESOL). The challenge was getting students to make clear connections in their writing to what they know about supporting literacy at home.
